This versatile product is a water-based medium that prolongs the drying time of colors so they remain workable longer for use. Thin 'n Shade can be used with any water-based ceramic color, fired or nonfired product and can act as a purer thinning agent in areas where water systems contain contaminants that may affect ceramic color results. To thin colors, mix Thin 'n Shade with any water-based ceramic color as you would with water to the consistency required for the specific decorating technique. Non-Toxic. Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

They dry quickly to an invisible appearance and are available in four finishes: Gloss, Matte, Satin and Hi-Gloss. Shake well. Apply 2 coats directly over acrylic color, let dry. Water clean up. They can be applied directly to greenware or bisque and layered over most underglazes, allowing the basecoat to show through. They're safe for serving food when coated with a Duncan food-safe clear glaze. Mix well. 1 coat to greenware or cone 04 bisque. Apply and fire clear glaze per label. Water clean up. Non-Toxic.
